It wasn’t that she hadn’t known. Because she totally did, that had already gone over before they had even started ‘dating.’ It was more like she had kind of been hoping she could change him. Or maybe he’d realize he wasn’t completely gay. It was stupid, she knew it when the thought had even crossed her mind. But maybe if she had been able to get closer to him. No, no she knew it was stupid. Mandy may not have been the smartest person this side of the tracks but she knew that people didn’t just change their sexual preferences. Still, you couldn’t blame a girl for wanting it. But she’d been the supportive one. Helped Ian pick out things for Kash, listened to him when he needed to rant. The girl had even rarely actually hooked up with someone else. Even if that hadn’t truly mattered.
But, the one thing she never thought she had to question was her brothers annoyance with her ‘boyfriend.’ They hated him, that had just been, like, a universal truth. So it could be understood that she was completely shocked to open her brother’s door and catch Mickey and Ian fucking. They didn’t see her, the door was shut and she was out the back door with a hand over her mouth within seconds. HolyShitHolyShitHolyShit. It was practically a chant running through her head as she hightailed it away from her house and down the street. So not only was he choosing a man that was married with kids over her, but now her brother who had tried to kill him?! Alright, she knew he wasn’t really ‘choosing’ them over her, but c’mon!! How unfair was this?!
So, maybe that was a little bit of the reason she was where she was now. Why she had decided to bring him back to her house she can’t really remember. Maybe a part of her had thought she’d be getting back at Ian or something if he caught her. Or maybe she just wanted to rub it in his face that, hey, she could do it too. The youngest Milkovich wasn’t even sure of the kids name. Bobby, maybe, or Ricki? Perhaps Jason. She didn’t know, he was in the grade below her, anyway. Straddling his lap his hand was up her skirt and she was starting to get annoyed that he wasn’t figuring out what she needed. Twisting her hips and coming down harder onto his fingers she barely registered the door opening behind her and her head flipped to see Mickey, Ian standing over his shoulder. Glaring at them as if nothing was going on she rolled her eyes, “Mind closing the fucking door?!” Gaze turned back to the boy below her withoutgiving them much more of her focus or time.
